Barbara Ellen Hemen

Aberdeen SD-Private Graveside Service for Barbara Ellen Hemen, 69, of Aberdeen will be held in the Spring of 2021.
Barbara died January 19, 2021 at her daughter's home in Stratford, SD.
Barbara Ellen Hemen was born on August 15, 1951 to Conrad and Mary (Coffield) Coleman in Sacramento, CA. She grew up in Sacramento and attended Lodi High School. Barb was married to Jim Gordon and with this union they had two children, Lisa and Linda. Barb was later married to Robert Johnson and with this union had Kathy, Kerry, Mike, and Joe.
Barb was employed as Certified Nursing Assistant for many years. She liked taking care of people and her family. Barb also enjoyed gardening, knitting, watching movies, and listening to music.
Barb is survived by her children, Lisa (Del) Ryckman of Box Elder, SD, Linda Johnson of Stratford, SD, Kathy DeVoss of Aberdeen, Kerry (Dave) Beckler of Bath, SD, Mike (Mary) Johnson of Wetonka, SD and Joe (Hayley) Johnson, Minneapolis, MN; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Barb was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Connie (Coleman) Triglia and brother, Bill Billingsley.
Carlsen Funeral Home and Crematory of Aberdeen has been entrusted with arrangements.
