Dalton Lee Lone

Aberdeen, SD-Memorial Service for Dalton Lee Lone, 28, of Aberdeen will be 10:00 am, Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Carlsen Funeral Home and Crematory. Rev. Micah Westby will officiate. 

Burial will be in Homer Cemetery, rural Pierpont.

Dalton died February 6, 2022, in Aberdeen.

Dalton Lee, son of Thomas and Renee (Erdmann) Lone was born March 15, 1993, to Matthew and Dawn DeMarrias in Aberdeen. He was adopted at the age of 5, along with his brothers. He was raised in Pierpont, SD while attending school and graduating from Langford High School with the class of 2012. Dalton then moved to Aberdeen.

In December of 2017, Dalton and Cheyenne LeBrun welcomed their child Deion Gourneau LeBrun. Over the years, Dalton worked several different jobs, most recently at Wright & Sudlow Construction.

Dalton was a hard-working quiet man. During high school, he enjoyed running cross country and still holds the Long-Distance Record. He also played football and basketball. Any time Dalton spent with his son, was very precious and dear to him.

Dalton’s greatest gift was his son, Deion Gourneau LeBrun. Grateful for having also shared his life are his parents, Thomas and Renee Lone of Pierpont; siblings, Mark Kelley of Pierpont, Kanye Lone of Pierpont, Damen Lone of Aberdeen, Sean P. Lone of Aberdeen, Patricia DeMarrias of Aberdeen, Kelly (DeMarrias) Ange of McEwen, TN, Alena (DeMarrias) Mustain of Paris, TN, Melyssa (DeMarrias) Mette-Stein of Arlington, SD; grandmother, Ardella Galvin of Roslyn, SD; birth parents, Matthew and Dawn DeMarrias and several other extended family.

Dalton was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend. His family is thankful for the thoughts and prayers during this time of loss.

Until we see you again; we will cherish the memories and miss you dearly.
