Obituary
Dennis Serfling, 80, of Aberdeen, SD passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Sunday, October 30, 2022.
Dennis was born on August 5, 1942 in Cherokee, Iowa to Dale and Erna (Richert) Serfling. Dennis attended grade and high school at Northville, SD. Dennis married Lila Sprague of Dupree,SD on January 11, 1964. To this union two sons were born Doren and Darrel Serfling. Lila preceded him in death in 1982. In 1991 he was joined in marriage to Sharon Flottmeyer. He is survived by his wife Sharon, his two sons Doren and Darrel, three stepdaughters Jill (Dave)Wieman, Dixie Mattern (Dave Usselman), Leann (Brett) Farnham, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Dennis had requested to be cremated with no funeral service. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Sharon and first wife Lila. The family and friends of Dennis Serfling cherished his gentle soul, his humble heart and are grateful for the time we got to spend with him.
