Doren Serfling

Doren D. Serfling, 60, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Avera St. Luke's Hospital.

Private Graveside Services will be held at Riverside Memorial Cemetery.

A celebration of life service and time to share memories and celebrate Doren will be at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the Red Rooster Coffee House.

Doren Donnie Serfling was born on April 11, 1965, in Mobridge, SD, to Dennis and Lila (Sprague) Serfling. Doren attended grade school and high school in Aberdeen, SD. Doren’s mother passed away on April 24, 1982, and his dad on October 30, 2022.

Doren is survived by his stepmother, Sharon Serfling; brother, Darrel Serfling; niece, Alison; stepsisters: Jill (Dave) Wieman of Sioux Falls, SD, Dixie (Dave Usselman) Mattern of Mina, SD, and Leann (Brett) Farnham of Mitchell, SD; aunt and uncle, Donnie and Deb Sprague of Rapid City, SD; cousins Brandon, Rylan and Marcie; and numerous friends and neighbors.

Doren was preceded in death by his parents. He will be laid to rest with them at Riverside Memorial Cemetery.
