Gina Marohl

Aberdeen, SD-Memorial Service for Gina Ann Marohl, 59, of Aberdeen will be 10:30 am Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Carlsen Funeral Home and Crematory.  Pastor Mike Waldrop will officiate.

Inurnment will be at 3:30 pm in Milbank City Cemetery, Milbank, SD with Rev. Devern Schwenn officiating.       

Gina died Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at her home.  

Gina Ann Helmbrecht, daughter of Wilbert F. and Arlys I. (Grabow) Helmbrecht was born May 16, 1961 at Milbank, SD. She grew up in Milbank while attending school at Milbank Public Schools.

Gina was united in marriage to Clifford Marohl on June 13, 1981 in Watertown, SD. They made their home in Aberdeen. She owned and operated a home cleaning business. Over the years, she cleaned for many families.

Gina enjoyed going camping. She liked gardening flowers and vegetables and simply helping plants grow. Gina loved her dogs and the companionship they gave her.

Grateful for having shared Gina’s life are her husband of 39 years, Clifford; brothers, Gaylord (Loretta Andersen) Helmbrecht of Sioux Falls and David (Karen Seefeldt) Helmbrecht of Milbank and sister, Sandra (Gary) Gann of Nashville, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ronald.

Carlsen Funeral Home and Crematory of Aberdeen has been entrusted with arrangements.
