Memorial services for Kirsten Sue Ruesch 55 of Aberdeen, SD will be at 2:30 PM Monday, September 25th at Carlsen Funeral home located in Aberdeen, SD. Pastor Mike Jacobson will officiate.
Kirsten was born on August 6, 1968 to Alan and Audrey Sandquist. She started school at Simmons Elementary and in the fall of 1977 she moved with her Mother and Step Father, Clinton Jacobson to Kalispell, Montana where she continued elementary school until early summer of 1983 where attended the rest of her school years through Groton high school. Kirsten then went Presentation College in Aberdeen for a year and finished her education in sonography in Sioux Falls.
Kirsten spent 25 years at Avera Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD and recently relocated to Aberdeen where she continued her work with Avera.
She will be forever remembered for her great thoughtfulness and caring. Her love for her two children, Miranda and Sebastian Ruesch was everlasting.
Kirsten also had many friends who loved her and she loved them.
She will always be remembered for her brilliant and happy smile, known by some as “Smiley” as well as her sense of humor.
She is survived by her mother, Audrey Jacobson and her Step Father, Clinton Jacobson. Also by her Father and Step Mother Alan and Jeannie Sandquist. Also survived by her brother Clint L Jacobson.
She was preceded in death by her brother Randall Alan Sandquist as well as her Grandparents.
Kirsten passed away unexpectedly on September 18th, 2023.
