Aberdeen, SD-Private Family Graveside Service for Larry Lee Farmer, 62, of Aberdeen will be held in Restlawn Memory Gardens in Huron, SD.
Larry died July 21, 2021, at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen.
Larry Lee, son of Louis Eugene and Betty Jane (French) Farmer was born September 30, 1958, in Huron, SD. He graduated from high school in Huron and then began working at Super America Convenience Store in Huron in 1976. He later transferred to Redfield, SD in 1978 to manage the Super America Convenience Store. In 1980, he transferred to Aberdeen where he was Assistant Manager at Super America on west sixth avenue.
In the early 2000’s, he became employed with Horton, Inc. in Britton and most recently was working at Menard’s in Aberdeen. Larry was forced into early retirement due to failing health.
Larry enjoyed going to car races and watching NASCAR on television. In his younger years he liked league bowling.
Grateful for having shared Larry’s life are his sister and brother-in-law, Linda, and Terry Wolff of Aberdeen.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Carlsen Funeral Home and Crematory of Aberdeen has been entrusted with arrangements.
