Bowdle, SD-Lawrence Duane Merkel, 80, of Bowdle died March 16, 2021 at the Bowdle Nursing Home.
He is survived by two sons; Phillip (Vicki) Nauman and Jeffrey (Kathy) Nauman; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alice (Jake) Helm and Lois (Jack) Mumford and one brother, Clyde Merkel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Loretta Merkel.
