Michael L. Snover

Aberdeen, SD-Private Family Graveside Service for Michael “Mike” L. Snover, 62, of Aberdeen will be held in the Spring of 2022 in Spring Hill Cemetery at Gann Valley, SD. Mike requested that there be no public services.

Mike died December 10, 2021, at his home with his wife and family by his side.

Mike was born July 22, 1959, to Donald and Donna (Lohnes) Snover in Aberdeen, SD. He attended Simmons and Holgate Junior High and graduated from Central High School with the class of 1977.

Mike was united in marriage to Laura Regynski on April 15, 1988, in Aberdeen. Together, they had five fur girls, Shyla, Sissy, Angel, and stepdaughters, Fancy and Lacey. They took several family trips. Mike owned and operated Scotty’s Drive-In for 16 years. Mike loved bowling, playing golf and spending time with all his friends. During his bowling career, he won several tournaments and set a state record. In 2001 he was inducted into the Aberdeen and the State Bowling Hall of Fame. Mike managed the SD Men’s State Bowling tournament for many years.

Grateful for having shared Mike’s life are his wife of 33 years, Laura; fur daughter, Lacey; brother, Rick (Sheila) Snover of Mina, SD; uncle, James (Mitz) Snover of Bath, SD and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant sister.

Laura would like to thank the Staff of Avera St. Luke’s and Hospice Care. Mike really missed the staff he met while he was hospitalized. Condolences may be sent to Laura Snover, 219 11th Ave. NE, Aberdeen, SD 57401.
