Grassland Colony, SD-Funeral Service for Rebecca J. Waldner, 87, of Grassland Colony will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Grassland Colony.
Burial will be at Grassland Hutterian Brethren Cemetery.
Rebecca died February 6, 2021 at her home.
Rebecca was born May 11, 1933 in Benard, Canada at Huron Colony to Joseph and Rebecca (Kleinsasser) Wollman. She lived at Huron Colony until 1949. At the age of 16 she moved to Pearl Creek Colony, SD with her family. Rebecca was united in marriage to John J. Waldner on September 6, 1952. John and Rebecca were married for 62 years. John died on January 10, 2016.
Rebecca and John moved to Long Lake Colony on July 3, 1967 where she was the head cook for over 20 years. Rebecca dedicated her life in serving the community. Rebecca and John moved to Grassland Colony July 3, 1990. This is where she lived until the time of her death.
