Susanne “Susie” Wollman

Wetonka, SD-Funeral Service for Susanne "Susie" Wollman, 89, of Wetonka will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Grassland Colony. Rev. Zach Tschetter and Rev. Mike Waldner will officiate.
Burial will be in Grassland Hutterian Brethren Cemetery.
Susie died Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Avera St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen.
Susanne was born January 30, 1932 at Roseisle Colony in Manitoba, Canada to Mike and Margaret (Tschetter) Waldner. Roseisle Colony relocated to South Dakota when she was a child. Susie lived at Jamesville Colony and later Huron Colony.
Susie was united in marriage to Zacharias Wollman on September 17, 1950 at Pearl Creek Colony. They made their home at Pearl Creek Colony until 1967 when they moved to Long Lake Colony near Wetonka, SD. In 1991 they moved to Grassland Colony, Wetonka, SD.
Susie was a gardener and worked in the children's dining room. She was very well known for her knitting.
Susie is survived by her children, Edwin (Rosaline) Wollman, Judy (Cliff) Staiger, Helen (Rocky) Wollman, Martha (George) Hofer; siblings, Anna Wipf, Christy Waldner, Irene Waldner, Esther (Amos) Wollman, Mary (John) Waldner, Katie Waldner, Sam (Margie) Waldner, Paul (Mary) Waldner, Ernie (Debbie) Waldner, John Waldner; 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Zacharias and Clarence, daughter, Christina, brothers, Jake, Joe, Edwin, Mike and infant brother, Michael, sister, Margaret, grandsons, Georgie and Titus and son-in-law, Cliff.
Carlsen Funeral Home and Crematory of Aberdeen has been entrusted with arrangements.
