Arla Jean Youngberg

Redfield, SD-Private Family Service will be held for Arla Jean Youngberg, 75, of Redfield.
Arla Jean received her wings and went to walk with the angels September 15, 2020.
Arla was born October 31, 1944 in Sisseton, SD to Lloyd and Selma (Haugen) Lee. She married Charles Youngberg March 23, 1968 and together they owned/managed the White Eagle Ballroom in New Effington, SD, Charlie's Bar in Rosholt, SD and then the Super 8 Motel in Madison, SD.
Over the years, Arla enjoyed creating and selling her many craft projects and was extremely talented. She loved fishing the many lakes in the Midwest area and enjoyed her trips to Canada. Arla even received the SD Proud Angler award for her trophy Walleye.
Preceded in death are Arla's parents, husband, brother, Raymond Sandvold and infant daughter, Kristie Jo Eggers.
Those left to mourn the woman they cherished are her daughter, Shelly Hofer, Henderson, NV, sons Robert (Twyla) Eggers, Redfield, SD, Brian Eggers, Jasper, MN and Michael Youngberg, Sioux Falls, SD, grandchildren Samantha Garrison, Redfield, SD, Charles Holland, Minnesota, Taylor (Tricia) Eggers, Redfield, SD, Dylan Eggers, Redfield, SD, Kayleah Eggers, Jasper, MN, Mercedes (Calvin) DeHeer, Sioux Falls, SD, Bradyn Binger, Redfield, SD and Shalyn Carr, Redfield, SD. Arla also leaves behind ten loving great-grandchildren; three brothers, Larry (Shirley) Lee, Rosholt, SD, Keith (Edna) Lee, Browns Valley, MN and Robert (Lori) Lee, Watertown, SD and one sister, Deloris (Michael) O’meara, Willmar, MN.
Carlsen Funeral Home and Crematory of Aberdeen has been entrusted with the arrangements.
