Cheryl Ruth Kroeplin

Highmore, SD-Cheryl Ruth Kroeplin, 82, of Highmore passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 at Highmore Health with family by her side. Cheryl's wishes were to be cremated and her ashes scattered with no formal services to be held.
Cheryl Ruth was born to Charles and Jesse (Rhiane) Rudolph on February 27, 1939. She joined an older brother Robert, then was followed by sister, Judy and brother, Mike. Cheryl spent the majority of her childhood in Rugby, ND. She graduated high school from Gardena, ND.
On July 27, 1957, she married Dale Kroeplin. To this union, four children were born, Bryan, Tammy, Tod, and Douglas. Through the years, Cheryl hauled meals to the fields during harvest time, mowed a lot of grass, worked in the laundry department at the nursing home and in later years, in the business office. Dale and Cheryl also operated a plumbing business for seven to eight years.
Cheryl made life-long cherished friendships in Highmore. She was an active member in the Lutheran Church. Her pride and joy were her family. A favorite pastime was watching sports on television.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Dale; sons, Bryan (Peggy) Kroeplin, Tod Kroeplin and Doug (Karen) Kroeplin; daughter, Tammy (Steve) Banberg; ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Mike (Kathy) Rudolph; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Rudolph, Sharon Bjornseth and Mary Ann Jobela; brothers-in-law, Bob (Margurette) Kroeplin and Barry (Kathy) Kroeplin and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert and sister, Judy.
