Aberdeen, SD-Private Graveside service for Htee Kler, 56, of Aberdeen will be May 11, 2020 at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery in Aberdeen.
Htee died Thursday, May 7, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Htee Kler was born April 1, 1964 in Myanmar, where she grew up on a family farm. As a result of the civil war, they fled to Thailand with her family. In 2008, Htee and her husband, Chee Yont moved to the United States from a refugee camp in Thailand. They moved to St. Louis, MO and then to Huron, SD. While in Huron, they worked for Dakota Provisions. Htee and her family then relocated to Aberdeen where she worked at Molded Fiber Glass Companies (MFG) for four years.
Htee enjoyed gardening, cooking, and taking care of her beloved family.
Grateful for having shared Htee's life are her husband, Chee Yont; daughters, Oh Ku (Ta Kyu Kyu) and Len Len (Noh Noh), both of Aberdeen and BB (Chaiwat Arreeyodyiam) of Thailand; son, Tha Gay of Aberdeen and eight grandchildren.
Carlsen Funeral Home and Crematory of Aberdeen has been entrusted with arrangements.
