Joshua Michael Ford, son of Alan and Tammy (Shaver) Ford was born January 22, 1997 at Aberdeen, SD. This is where he grew up and attended public school. He began working in local restaurants as a cook and later devoted his interest to carpentry work. At the time of his death he was employed with Dutenhoffer Construction.
Josh loved to play and be goofy with his kiddos. He enjoyed being with his friends, fishing, camping, and working on his jeep. In his younger years, he enjoyed being with his friends skateboarding and playing Disc golf.
Grateful for having shared Joshua's life are his parents, Alan and Tammy of Aberdeen; daughter, Charli Ford and son, Carter Ford, both of Aberdeen; two sisters, Tanya (Aaron Holtz) Ford of Huron and Brittany (Jeremy) Belleau and niece, Aviyah of Kingsville, Ontario, Canada; brother, Christian (Amberlee Haines) Ford and nephew, Hayden of Aberdeen; paternal grandmother, Mary Ford of Selby; maternal grandmother, Paula Wittner of Banner, WY and aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eugene and JoAnn Shaver and paternal grandfather, William R. Ford Jr.
Joshua was a bright and beautiful light within this world. Our gift from God. He was a kind, gentle, giving, and loving soul. If you had him as a friend, you knew he loved and cherished you. He loved his babies; they were his whole being. He was the best daddy, son, brother, and friend he could be.
His bright light is not dimmed. He is now a shining star.
We will love and miss you always and forever.
Love You,
Mom, Dad, Tanya, Aaron, Brittany, Jeremy, Christian, Amber and all your family and friends.
