Norman David was born June 8, 1932 to Oscar and Olga Kathleen (Lindell) Kloster at Stanley, ND. This is where he grew up and started his education. He finished high school in Calgary, Canada.
He was united in marriage to Mary Kathryn Ogren on December 1, 1962 in First Lutheran Church at Minot, ND. They moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1963. His employer sent him to technical school to be trained as a Machine Technician. He worked in manufacturing operating a plastic extruder machine. In 1978, they moved to Ashley, ND where he operated a plastic extruder machine at Blumhardt Manufacturing. Norman retired in 1997. He filled his time taking care of his rental property and family activities.
Norman enjoyed bike rides with his wife, Mary, and campfires and camping with family. He liked car racing when he was younger, especially as a driver. Norman loved his Almond Joy candy and there was nothing more important to Norman than family time.
Norman was a member of Ashley Baptist Church as well as Gideons International Ministry. He was honored to sing with the church choir and was a former church Deacon. He was also a member of Ashley Senior Center.
