Aberdeen, SD-There will be services in Wisconsin at a later date for Stacey Luterbach, 35, of Aberdeen. Stacey died April 12, 2019 at her home.
Condolences may be sent to Jessica Grimes, PO Box 367, Kadoka, SD 57543.
Stacey was born to parents, Cora Sue Collins and Dale Gregory Luterbach in Waukesha, WI on February 25, 1984.
Stacey grew up in Dousman, WI with her siblings Ryan, Jessica, Douglas, Leslie and Emma. She enjoyed spending time with close friend/babysitter Denise and Todd Sheehan family. She attended Kettle Moraine High School until she moved to Green Bay, WI with her Mom. She later completed her GED through Waukesha Community Technical College. She was very proud of this accomplishment. Stacey met her boyfriend, Derrick Backous while working at Quality Color Graphics. She enjoyed the camaraderie of co-workers and customers while working at multiple McDonalds locations throughout the years.
Stacey gave birth to her daughter, Makaylah Maree on June 28, 2008, while living in Waukesha, WI. This was the happiest moment of her life. In 2014, the family moved to Aberdeen. Shortly after Stacey gave birth to a perfect son, Nathanial Michael John on March 25, 2014. She loved her kids more than anything.
Stacey stood out as fun, joyful, loving and independent young woman. She loved her own style, being strong as God created her to be. Stacey would rock fluffy socks, bright colors, sparkly make-up and lip-gloss with her own creation of clothes and hair styles, and had a blast doing it. She was selfless and would do for others before herself. She always worried about everyone else and loved the company of family and friends. She was compassionate and had a strong faith in God. As a mother she loved taking the kids swimming, going to the lake, sitting around the fire making smores, and in winter playing in the snow, and jamming to good music.
Survivors include her children, Makaylah and Nathanial Backous; significant other, Derrick Backous; father, Dale; two brothers, Ryan and Douglas and three sisters, Jessica, Leslie and Emma.
Stacey will be met in heaven by her grandmother, Geraldine Luterbach and her grandparents, Robert and Betty Collings, as well as her mother, Cora Collins. She will forever be cherished and remembered in so many ways. There will never be another like her. Missed forever.
