Aberdeen, SD-Funeral service for Jordan Pagel, 31, of Aberdeen will be 10:30 am, Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Rev. Liz Dieseth Pearl and Rev. Michael Jacobson will officiate.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

There will be a prayer service at 7:00 pm Tuesday with visitation from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Carlsen Funeral Home and Crematory.

Jordan passed away on September 7, 2018 at his residence.

Jordan was born on April 10, 1987 in Aberdeen, SD where he attended C.C. Lee Elementary, Holgate Middle School, and Central High School, graduating with the class of 2006. After graduating, he worked on area farms and then in 2008, he began working at SD Wheat Growers/Grebner Grain Terminal. He recently was self-employed in the information technology field.

Jordan loved playing guitar and listening to Eric Clapton music. He loved being outside working on various projects and enjoyed agriculture since he was a little boy. His favorite past times also included watching movies with Natasha, dining out, and working and fixing computers. Jordan will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and for his entrepreneurial ideas. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Grateful for having shared Jordan’s life are his parents, Robert and Tracy (Ochsner) Pagel of Aberdeen; sister, Lindsey Pagel of Utah; maternal and paternal grandparents. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Natasha Doxsee of Aberdeen and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jordan will be greatly missed by his family, who loved him very much.

Carlsen Funeral Home and Crematory of Aberdeen has been entrusted with arrangements.

    Jordan was the best thing that happened to me. He was the person I thought I would spend the rest of my life with. He was kind, funny, smart, and caring towards me. He was the one person in this world that I felt completely at home with. When I was having bad days, just being in his arms would make everything better.
